ELEVATED FIRE DANGER CONTINUES!
Folks, a friendly reminder from your Orlean Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department:
For the past week, we’ve been experiencing windy conditions and the area is in a severe drought to boot.
Please don’t do any outside burning under these conditions.
If you must burn when the winds die down, you must ALWAYS contact the County Dispatch Office to inform the Sheriff and Fire/Rescue of your intention. Call: 540-347-1313.
For more information you can contact the County Fire Marshal: 540-422-8823.
Thank you.
